I wanted to take the time to introduce Mitsi McKee. She is an award-winning graphic artist from Arkansas. And she represents what Judas Kiss is all about. Much like us, she has created a team of  professionals from around the country ready to make the world a prettier place. We have hired her to help us with the visual concepts of our posters and promotions. Please check out her stuff at Evil Tomato Media. Umm… I mean out of the closet?!? Anyway, that’s me all bloodied up for my co-starring role with adult film star Brent Corrigan.

I can’t give away the plot, but Carlos and I were invited to help Jody Wheeler with his gay horror short film. I played the part of Griffin and Carlos dutifully plays the part of set photographer. And of course I wrangled my boyfriend Adam as make-up artist.

It was a lot of fun, although I was a bit uncomfortable at first. In the Closet will be my acting debut in the buff. An actor has not truly performed until he has given a monolog completely nude.  In the past few years, I have been making my mark as a filmmaker. Yet, it was nice to step in front of the camera again. It gave me an opportunity to try something new. Watch out, Carlos, I’m sure there’s a walk-on role somewhere in Judas Kiss for me!

Speaking of Judas Kiss and Carlos, I currently have Carlos chained to his chair in the Judas Kiss “Development Headquarters.”  He is re-writing our draft as I type these words. I occasionally bring him food and water to satisfy his basic needs. He says our new draft is just  days away. I will deny him sunlight until I see this new draft.

This is a movie that will speak to the spark that is within us all. It’s an easy concept to verbalize, but it can difficult to visualize with a single image. That’s why we get concept artists to do the work for us!

We are very excited to welcome aboard conceptual artists Jon Davis and P.K. Eiselt to the Judas Kiss production team. Not only are they are going to help us with poster concepts, but they will also be launching Webcomics on the site.  Check out their designs on our Media page.
