Judas Kiss star Richard Harmon has signed onto the new A&E series, Bates Motel, a prequel to the Hitchcock’s classic film, Psycho, starring alongside Freddie Highmore (Finding Neverland) and Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air).

In its exclusive story, TV Line reports that Harmon’s character will be involved in a love triangle with Highmore’s young Norman Bates:

“Described as a look into Norman’s formative years, including his storied relationship with his mother, Bates Motel will premiere sometime in 2013.”

Harmon’s other TV credits include The Secret Circle, Fringe, Smallville and the upcoming Canadian-made Syfy series, Continuum.
