Palm Springs’ gay and lesbian film festival, Cinema Diverse, will screen Judas Kiss on Saturday, September 24, at 7 p.m. at the Camelot Theaters as part of the festival’s run from September 22-25.
“We are thrilled to be screening Judas Kiss at Cinema Diverse this year,” said festival organizer Michael Green. “Join us this year as we present the very best of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender cinema.”
Judas Kiss is oneĀ of only 12 feature films screening at the festival, in addition to four shorts.
“Here’s a little secret: Part of Judas Kiss was written in Palm Springs,” said writer-producer Carlos Pedraza, “so it’s like the film will be coming home to Cinema Diverse.”
Festival passes go on sale September 2, and tickets to individual movies on September 9.
Among the other films to screened at Cinema Diverse are I Want to Get Married, the excellent Private Romeo, the fifth installment of the unrelenting Eating OutĀ series, Eating Out: The Open Weekend, the documentary This is What Love in Action Looks Like, An Ordinary Couple, the comedy eCupid, the spanking hot musical, Leave it on the Floor, and closing afternoon feature, Going Down in La-La Land, from prolific writer-director Casper Andreas.
