Video: Behind the Scenes of ‘Like it Rough’

Merry Christmas! As our gift to fans and supporters, here is some behind-the-scenes video chronicling the shoot of Timo Descamps’ song, “Like it Rough,” as it is featured in Judas Kiss.

This footage was shot over the first two days of principal photography back in August at a music studio in Seattle, Mad Pants Productions in Fremont. Timo’s character, Shane Lyons, is a music student at Keystone Summit University whose music video is directed by film student Chris Wachowsky (Brent Corrigan).

The version of the song as it appears in Judas Kiss is a different mix than that released a few weeks ago by Timo.

Timo gave Judas Kiss permission to use “Like it Rough” in the movie. The production’s crew (and a few of its cast) also contributed to Timo’s official video for the song, which was released at Halloween, and has nearly 48,000 views on YouTube.

This behind-the-scenes video depicts footage being shot for the movie itself. The shoot for Timo’s official music video occurred concurrently with Judas Kiss principal photography, but was a separate project that only shared some cast and crew.

The video was shot by our videographer, Matt Bucy, who also edited it together in record time for its premiere at the fundraiser we held at the end of August at The Lobby Bar in Seattle.

As a chronicle of the film’s shoot, this footage shows you how quickly cast and crew bonded and what kind of fun we all had on set. My favorite part is where a busload of tourists driving by in Seattle’s picturesque Fremont neighborhood is more interested in watching half-clothed vampires being speckled with blood than in viewing the scenery. Enjoy!
