It came down to the wire. Only minutes left in the Kickstarter campaign and we were still almost $700 away from reaching $10,000. I didn’t think we were going to make it. Twitter and Facebook were buzzing with final appeals in those closing moments. Then, at 10:58 pm PDT –
The notice on the Judas Kiss page on Kickstarter.com says it all.
Except for this: THANK YOU to the 85 backers who pledged more than $10,000 to our film, and thank you to the many others who spread the word through Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, blogs and countless other means of non-monetary but still important support.
Our film will make you proud.

OMG I am so happy to read that, when I woke up this morning and when I saw the successful result, I was like “whaow, whoaw and whaow”
This movie is gonna be a blast I can feel it and I am so proud to be part of the adventure, I have believed in the project since the very beginning, and I see I wasn’t wrong
All the best for the shooting in August !
It’s a shame I live so far away otherwise I would have loved to come to the set to say hello !
I wish teleportation could exist ^^ Lots of love and hugs, D-Chan

This funding is a testament to the powerful message of hope and inspiration that Judas Kiss will deliver. Far too many young gay people are troubled by the world around them, unloving families and an uncertain future. Many are crippled with thoughts of past mistakes and believe there is no way to make things right with the world and move forward.
The time for the message of Judas Kiss is now. A major dose of inspiration is what the gay community needs.
